Teacher Responsibilities

Assist in recruitment of a parent volunteer to teach the program in your classroom.

Communicate with volunteer to arrange a schedule of visits--you can arrange for the volunteer to teach the lessons one at a time over several visits to the classroom or all in one visit for approximately 4 hours. (JA in a Day)

Remain in the classroom while the volunteer is teaching.

Provide support and assistance to your JA volunteer as needed

Confirm completion of the JA program in your class with either your school's JA liaison or a JA staff member
